Photographing Conrad's 50th birthday celebration was a heartfelt honor for me. Having worked alongside both Melanie and Conrad during the vibrant days of their cycling studio, I had the privilege of witnessing firsthand their dedication, warmth, and unwavering support for one another. Friends and family gathered from all over the country to celebrate this significant milestone and it was abundantly clear that Conrad holds a special place in the hearts of all who know him. It truly was a joy and privilege to have captured these warm moments for them.

Capturing Brent and Ashlee's wedding recital and wedding was a deeply fulfilling experience for me, blending my passion for photography with the joy of witnessing two dear friends embark on a new chapter of their lives. Having had the privilege of working alongside Ashlee at Anuket Luxury Apothecary for several years, I've come to admire her creativity, warmth, and dedication. Similarly, my time at Brent's Haberdashery provided me with a glimpse into Brent's remarkable character, marked by his impeccable taste and genuine hospitality.

As I stepped behind the lens to document their special day, I felt a profound sense of connection and gratitude. Every snapshot captured not just the outward beauty of the ceremony and celebration, but also the intimate moments of love, laughter, and tenderness exchanged between the two. From the radiant glow on Ashlee's face as she walked down the aisle, to the cheers and joyful exclamations heard by family and friends during the heartfelt recital, each photograph became a timeless memento of their union.

Being entrusted with the responsibility of preserving such precious memories was a privilege I cherished deeply. As I navigated through the whirlwind of emotions and fleeting moments, I couldn't help but feel a sense of fulfillment knowing that my photographs would serve as treasured reminders of Brent and Ashlee's love story for years to come. It was an honor to play a small part in capturing the magic of their wedding day.

Working with Ashlee, founder of Anuket Luxury Apothecary, was simply one of the best experiences and learning opportunities I’ve been given. My time at her company as a Digital Marketing Intern consisted of exciting events and markets, fun photoshoots, and rewarding content creation and execution. I’ve also been able to grow as a photographer through the lifestyle, product, and event photoshoots we’ve accomplished.

Other than the photoshoots we’ve executed during my internship, I’ve also been able to take on a lot of responsibility for Anuket’s brand awareness. Most of my tasks included designing and scheduling pins for Pinterest; however, I also created engaging content for Instagram Stories, implemented the use of Idea Pins (similar to stories) on Pinterest, wrote and photographed for Anuket’s blog, and taught coworkers/new interns how to take over my position. Under Ashlee’s guidance I’ve learned so much and am excited to continue my work in the digital marketing industry.

But enough about me! I’d love to tell you about Anuket Luxury Apothecary. After traveling the world and finding herself in Egypt at a small perfumery along the Nile River, Ashlee discovered the gorgeous fragrance of papyrus oil. She immediately fell in love with the rare scent and took it back home to share with friends and family. When Ashlee tried to find more, she realized there wasn’t a market for papyrus oil in the States - thus was born Anuket Luxury Apothecary! Her company has since grown and now features six unique fragrances, all imported from that same Egyptian perfumery she had once found herself in.

I’m so excited to share my very first wedding photo shoot with Brenna and Nicolas at their gorgeous wedding on Mackinac Island! These newly weds had such a beautiful day celebrating their marriage by going back to the very first place that they met. I was so happy to help them capture their love on this most special of days! #MarriedOnMackinac

Displayed here is Kiera and Drew’s 8th year together taken at Robinette’s Apple Orchard. We had such a great time eating apples off trees and sharing donuts and I’m so glad I was able to capture these warm memories forever. Cheers to such a beautiful relationship!

In collaboration with Janiece of Studio 824 Beauty Lounge and Shanyh, our model, we worked on this project to complete an updated set of visuals showcasing Janiece's talent. It was such a great learning experience editing these images and I can’t wait to accomplish more in the field of professional makeup photography!

A little test shoot I did with the beautiful and upcoming model, Ki’nijah from Grand Rapids, MI. Our location was Romence Gardens where they had alluring supply of pinks and greens which made for a magical backdrop that wonderfully complimented Ki. Truly loved working with this gorgeous, young woman!

For my second shoot with Gavin he brought along his cousin Dauan to the Ranney Skate Park in Lansing, MI. Being a first timer, Dauan exhibited a great natural talent for modeling and we ended up with some awesome images. It was definitely an excellent experience working with Gavin again.

Images from the engagement session with Caitlin and Jordan! We explored Downtown Grand Rapids with a few areas in mind and ended up with a gorgeous set of images celebrating their soon to be marriage. Congratulations to this adorable couple!

It was my pleasure to work with Gavin, a model and actor from the Detroit area currently working in LA, on this pretty neat set of images. Super fun and easy to talk to, we came up with some great work in just a short amount of time. Check out his page in the link provided!

I love taking images/moments for friends, especially these two beautiful humans. Taken in their Florida home, we did a quick little photo shoot in the surrounding area full of tropical plants and architecture. I hope they enjoy these photos as much as I loved working with them!

For this series I had the absolute pleasure of working with Sarah and Kori on a fitness-style photo shoot in the downtown Grand Rapids area. Initiated by Sarah’s partnership with Ryderwear, the three of us worked together to create several inspirational and motivating images. Niecey Stewart, a local makeup artist (MUA) in the Grand Rapids area worked with me to create a gorgeous set of images for her spa and makeup business, Studio 824 Beauty Lounge. We found a young, aspiring model that beautifully showcased Niecey’s talents in the images you see here.

Ally is an aspiring model from the Chicago, IL area who met with me in Grand Rapids in July of 2018. An absolutely brilliant and creative soul, Ally was able to easily work with me to create the beautiful images you see here.
